Sally’s Salon
Sally’s Salon is a game for the iPhone and iPod Touch in which you have to help Sally in her quest to open a chain of beauty salons. This game is very similar in style and gameplay to Diner Dash, but it does add some different elements and more complex graphics to the to make it interesting.
The goal of this game is to keep your customers happy and Make your them look fabulous quickly. so they don’t get angry and storm out. There are many different things that you’ll have to do to accomplish this task. Your duties include washing, dying, cutting, styling, and more across 50 levels. Each level earns you a good deal of money that you can actually use to make your life that much easier. You can purchase things like equipment upgrades or assistants to help with specific duties
By tapping on the touch screen, you move customers, who walk in one by one, from station to station. Making them wait too long—in the waiting area, in the barber’s chair, at the cash register—and they’ll head straight for the door, taking their money with them.
The object of the each level is to earn certain amount of cash to clear the level. And making your customers happy will earn a good amount of tips helping you to complete you objective. You can then use this money to buy new equipments for the shop like a coffee machine, scented candles, magazine station or even new workers for helping you.
When a new customer walks through the doors of the salon, the service they want appears in a bubble above their head. Typically they want a wash first, followed by either a cut or a dye job (or both), then a dry. And as the game proceeds there will be new stations such as eye-brow waxing or manicure stations
At the end of each level, the game even shows you all of the customers you’ve served, from punks and Goths to brides, businessmen and old ladies so that you can see the new looks you’ve given them
Though Sally’s Salon doesn’t have difficulty modes, it does have five different locations, including a mall, a ski resort, and the Ritz, each with 10 sub-levels to complete.
There is a survival mode, where players are challenged to satisfy an increasing number of customers, running back and forth between them until one walks out to end the round. This mode provides much more of an immediate challenge.
However there are some flaws in the game. The upgrades such as a coffee machine are difficult to put to use, some of the salon doesn’t fit on the iphone screen leaving some customers unattended
However Sally’s Salon isn’t a bad game. It’s definitely a fun game that will keep you entertained for quite some time. So if you’re looking for a management game that’s challenging but not overly hectic, then Sally’s Salon is definitely worth a look
