iFitness
iFitness is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that shows you some unique ways to get in shape, lose some weight, and start a daily routine. This app is really easy to use and makes learning new ways to work out a lot easier
Basically, the application is a database of exercises for certain parts of the body, and that database is huge. In iFitness, there are over 115 unique exercises for you to pull up and start focusing on. Whether it is abdominals, arms, back, chest, legs or shoulders, iFitness is divided into section to which you can navigate that would show you exercises that buff up that body part. You can view each individual exercise in different sections listed according to body parts they focus on. iFitness has a more complete and compact style. It’s a bit like having an instruction manual at the gym
You can search the database of exercises by muscle group or alphabetical order and if there is something that they don’t have you can create custom exercise to add to the list or edit your own custom exercise. Any exercise that you select will show a picture of exactly how to do the exercise along with the written explanation and the best part is the pictures are preloaded so u don’t need data connection to view them.
There is a routine listings section, In this section, iFitness recommends a certain set of exercises depending on your goal. The options are beginner, weight loss, abdominal defining, muscle building, strength building, complete body workout and business travel workout. Each routine lists out the different exercises that it covers and how many reps of each you should be doing. You can use my workout area of the app to make your own routine
iFitness really offers up a lot of information and is a nice looking app. It’s real easy to use. This is an app that will actually help you stay on a routine. you won’t have to remember exercises because they’ll be right there in your iPhone. And if u feel trying something different, u have got plenty of options right in the palm of your hand.
It even allows you to keep a track of your progress just tap the log icon and easily record your progress. The saved data can be even sent to your mail with just one finger tap
For those of you who are already working out, this app will provide you with plenty more work out routines and individual exercises to help you improve your total experience. So with its large database and its ease of u and if you’re into working out this is an app you must use
